A Hale Nani inmate was reported missing after he was unaccounted for at the 10 p.m. headcount Friday, the Department of Public Safety said.

Lyndal Gilliland, 22, was serving time for prohibited acts related to drug paraphernalia and promoting a dangerous drug. 

Gilliland was scheduled to be sentenced in December. Escape is expected to be added to his charges.

Gilliland is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
