A fundraising dinner and auction for Maemae Elementary School in Nuuanu will be held on Saturday.
The event is being hosted by the newly formed Maemae School and Community Foundation, a non-profit in support of the school and its students. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of student interactive boards. Currently the school has three and the foundation wants to purchase four more to provide one for each grade level.
The dinner and auction is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the dining hall at the school, located at 319 Wyllie St.
