Jordan Sanches went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and Cherie Malacas and winning pitcher Claire Vila each had two hits and three runs batted in as the Lanai Pinelasses rallied to beat the Waialua Bulldogs 14-8 in the DataHouse/HHSAA State Softball Championships on Tuesday.
All four games for the Division II tournament were played at McKinley High.

Waialua led 4-3 before Lanai scored four in the bottom of the third for a 7-4 lead. After the Bulldogs closed to 7-6 after four innings, the Pinelasses put three more on the board for a 10-6 lead. Waialua made it 10-8 in the top of the sixth, but Lanai scored four more in the bottom of the frame.
Christel Agtina batted 2-for-3 for Waialua.

Autum McCoy was a star in the circle and at the plate for the Golden Hawks.
McCoy struck out seven, homered and doubled in dominating the Wildcats in five innings.
Nanakuli will play Pac-Five in a 7 p.m. quarterfinal game at McKinley on Wednesday. Konawaena will play Waialua at 1 p.m. on Thursday at McKinley.
