A fundraising dinner and auction for Maemae Elementary School in Nuuanu will be held Saturday.
The event is being hosted by the newly formed Maemae School and Community Foundation, a nonprofit in support of the school and its students.
Proceeds will go toward the purchase of student interactive boards that are used in each classroom for students to share their learning materials, teachers to duplicate online lesson plans and individual stu-dent learning data to be gathered.
Currently the school has three of the boards, and the foundation wants to purchase four more to provide one for each grade level.
The fundraiser is set for 6 to 9 p.m. in the dining hall at the school, located at 319 Wyllie St.
