Police opened an attempted murder case after a man allegedly attempted to hit another man with his car in Kailua Thursday afternoon.
Police said a 37-year-old man narrowly avoided being struck by a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old man.
The victim was not injured.
Police did not make any arrests.
