Officials at the National Weather Service canceled a flood advisory for Oahu posted Monday afternoon.
A nearly stationary area of heavy rain near Makakilo had earlier prompted weather officials to issue a flood advisory through 6 p.m.
As of 2:49 p.m., gauges recorded rainfall of over 2.5 inches an hour in Makakilo, according to officials at the National Weather Service.
