Police arrested a 28-year-old Kapolei man who allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend in Wahiawa.

Police said the man and the 24-year-old woman got into an argument that turned physical.

The man allegedly grabbed the woman by the neck and slammed her into the vehicle.

He then allegedly grabbed her by her hair while in her vehicle and hit her several times.

The incident occurred 10:50 a.m. Thursday in a Wahiawa residential area.

Police arrested the man 11 a.m. Thursday on a probation revocation warrant and on suspicion of abuse of a household member and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
