2 men ejected from Jeep in Lahaina crash
Two men were injured after a Jeep flipped over in a single-vehicle accident on Honoapiilani Highway in Lahiana Wednesday night.
Police said a 33-year-old man and a 32-year-old man, both Lahaina residents, were in a green 1999 Jeep Wrangler that lost control traveling north on the highway, drove onto the shoulder of the road and overturned just past Wahikuli Road at about 10:53 p.m. Wednesday.
Both men were ejected from the Jeep.
The 33-year-old man was in critical condition at the Maui Memorial Medical Center. The other man suffered “substantial injuries,” police said. The condition of the 32-year-old man was not released.
Police said the men were not wearing seat belts.
