No charges for Palolo shooting suspect

A 43-year-old Liliha man who was arrested in connection with the murder of a 44-year-old Palolo man and the robbery of a Palolo convenience store was not charged Wednesday afternoon.
The suspect, who has a criminal history of drug and weapons convictions, was arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of first-degree robbery and second-degree murder in the death of Keni “Rimoni” Pologa.
He remains jailed at Halawa Correctional Facility on a parole retake warrant.
