Hawaii County police charged a 22-year-old Honomu man with second-degree escape and three firearms offenses Thursday.
Police arrested Dillon Revilla Wednesday for escaping from police custody on Tuesday.
While officers were arresting Revilla for a firearms offense at Kamaee Falls, he fled on foot while handcuffed.
His bail was set at $37,000. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
