Mauna Kea protesters marched toward the Kalani­moku Building for Friday’s hearing on the state’s proposed emergency rule to limit access to the Mauna Kea summit area in an effort described as promoting safe access. The state Board of Land and Natural Resources took up the matter at a regularly scheduled meeting.
