The Manoa Falls hiking trail will be closed from sunrise to noon on Monday and Tuesday while work to remove a hazardous tree, according to the state Department of Land and Natural Resources.

The trail will reopen at noon each day.

Hikers are asked to schedule their hikes in the afternoon. Trail information can be found at www.hawaiitrails.org

State trails staff will close the Manoa Falls trail gate and post a “trail closed” sign. DLNR enforcement officers will be present to ensure public safety.
