A 19-year-old patient at the State Hospital in Kaneohe allegedly attacked a state worker and was arrested, police said.
The incident happened at about 10:30 a.m. on the hospital grounds.
Officers arrested the patient on suspicion of second degree assault.
He was later released to hospital officials, pending further investigation.
