Police arrested a 29-year-old man with no local address Thursday for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in Kakaako on Sunday. 

Police said the woman reported being sexually assaulted at about 5 a.m. Sunday. 

Two of the victim’s family members, a 37-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman who later confronted the man, were allegedly threatened by the suspect with a dangerous instrument. 

The man was identified and arrested 2:20 p.m. Thursday on suspicion of first-degree sexual assault and two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening. 

The case is pending investigation.
