Residents and businesses can drop off obsolete or unwanted electronics at the Kauai Resource Center, 3460 Ahukini Road in Lihue, on Friday and Saturday.
People can bring the electronic waste from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
There is no limit on the quantity of e-waste that can be dropped off, Kauai County officials said.
Bridge repairs to close down Kauai roadway
The single-lane bridge on Hanapepe Road will be closed for repairs from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday to allow the Kauai Department of Public Works to do repair and maintenance work.
Motorists should seek alternate routes and allow extra time to get to their destinations in the area, Kauai County officials said.

Kauai farm fair shuts sunshine market on Friday
The Lihue Sunshine Market will not be held Friday because the Vidinha Stadium parking lot will be used for the annual Kauai County Farm Bureau Fair.
The market will resume at its usual time, 3 p.m., on Aug. 21.
