A second suspect who police say participated in a brazen armed robbery of Milano Boutique on Keeaumoku Street almost a month ago was arrested Monday.
Police arrested the 23-year-old woman for two unrelated contempt warrants and later found that she was a suspect in the July 24 armed robbery at the boutique.
Nezlyn Kealoha was rearrested on a grand jury warrant Monday charging her with first-degree robbery in the Milano Boutique incident.
George Williams, 43, was arrested July 30 and indicted by an Oahu grand jury Aug. 5 on a first-degree robbery charge. He is being held at Oahu Community Correctional Center, unable to post bail of $50,000.
According to court documents, Williams was in the front passenger seat of a gray Dodge Charger when the car parked in the parking lot in front of the shop at 4:45 p.m. July 24. His female accomplice was in the back seat.
As Williams and a woman walked into the boutique at 903 Keeaumoku St., a clerk tried to lock the shop door when she saw Williams on a surveillance monitor concealing a handgun, according to a police affidavit.
Williams allegedly pointed the weapon at the clerk and ordered her to lie on the floor behind a counter. He then pointed the gun to her head while his accomplice stood behind him, the affidavit said.
The police affidavit said Williams grabbed four designer bags from the wall and left with his female accomplice in the Dodge Charger.
Four days after the armed robbery, the Honolulu Police Department issued CrimeStoppers bulletins with a photograph of Williams, his female accomplice and the Dodge Charger.
Williams was arrested July 30 at Kona Street and Atkinson Boulevard. The driver of the Charger is still at large.
