Flooding closes stretches of Schofield Barracks roads

Motorists are asked to avoid traveling on the roads on Schofield Barracks unless absolutely necessary because of excessive flooding and traffic congestion, according to a U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii Emergency Response news release.

Lyman Road — from PMO (Provost Marshal Office) up to Humphreys Road, and Humphreys to the Nehelani Banquet and Conference Center, are currently closed due to excessive flooding. Lyman Gate, however, is not closed.

The area on Trimble Road, in front of the Health & Fitness Center, alongside Sgt. Smith Theater, should be avoided because of flooding.
