Lusitana Street reopened after main repair

Lusitana Street in the Punchbowl area is open again after Board of Water Supply crews completed repairs to a six-inch water main that broke Thursday afternoon.
All lanes between were reopened on Lusitana Street bretween Bush Lane and San Antonio Avenue at approximately 1:30 a.m. Crews restored water service to all of the affected customers at approximately 12:30 a.m.
The main broke at about 3 p.m., leaving about 30 customers without water.
