Two-time two-year college national volleyball player of the year Annie Mitchem has been cleared to play for No. 18 Hawaii in Friday’s season opener against Idaho at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Mitchem, a 6-foot-3 middle, joined the team on Aug. 18. The Irvine Valley College transfer learned Friday afternoon that all of her paperwork had been processed and deemed eligible to play against the Vandals.
