Seawall repair starts Tuesday
Repair work is scheduled to begin Tuesday on the sea wall fronting Pono Kauai Resort in Kapaa.
The project is expected to take approximately 3-1/2 months to complete, weather permitting, Kauai County officials said in a news release Tuesday.
While the project is underway, a portion of the beach fronting the resort, including Ke Ala Hele Makalae, the multiuse path, will be blocked off. To allow for public access to the beach and the multiuse path, a temporary pathway will be built on the grounds of Pono Kai Resort.
