SAN FRANCISCO >> A string of spray-painted graffiti in southeast San Francisco this weekend is being investigated by the police as hate crimes.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports Monday that the graffiti took place Sunday. The words “No more Chinese” was spray-painted in several locations in the Portola neighborhood, just south of where Highway 101 and Interstate 280 merge.

Among the targets were a recreation center, an out-of-business supermarket, and two other spots on streets.

Officers are also searching to see if there are any other locations that have been vandalized, or for video surveillance.
