2 Hilo men charged in robbery of man at park

Two Hilo men are facing felony robbery charges after they allegedly robbed a 20-year-old Hilo man at gunpoint early Thursday morning at Ainaola Park. 

According to police, Joshua Domen and Bradley Burcena, both 22, accosted the victim and stole his wallet and glasses before fleeing in separate vehicles. 

Police found the suspects two hours later on Kahaopea Street and arrested them. 

On Friday, Domen was charged with first-degree robbery and resisting arrest. His bail was set at $5,500. 

Burcena was charged with first-degree robbery. His bail was set at $5,000.
