Police are looking for a man who was part of a group of car thieves who stole a car Thursday morning and crashed it into a wall fronting Waialua Middle and High School on Farrington Highway.

Police arrested a 23-year-old Waialua man and an 18-year-old Waialua woman on suspicion of car theft after they left the scene of the crime. The school was placed on lockdown for 30 minutes while police conducted a manhunt in the area. The lockdown was lifted just after 10 a.m.

The 23-year-old man also was arrested on several drug charges and for driving without an license.

The car slammed into a wall at the high school, and then another car before the suspects fled on foot.
