Inmate charged after failing to return from work furlough

A 45-year-old Oahu Community Correctional Center inmate was charged today with second-degree escape. 

The inmate, John Dziejak, failed to return to the Laumaka work furlough program on Aug. 26. 

On Wednesday, he turned himself in at the main police station. His bail was set at $11,000.
