A 37-year-old Makiki woman was arrested Thursday after she allegedly slapped her father on the face and body and harassed a police officer who responded to the incident, police said. 

The woman, who has three prior convictions for abuse of a family or household member, attacked her 61-year-old father about 5:35 p.m. Thursday, causing him pain, police said. 

Officers arrested the woman at her Pensacola Street home about 6:10 p.m. Thursday for investigation of felony abuse as a repeat offender, harassment of a police officer and resisting arrest.
