Police arrested three juvenile boys for theft after a man reported that the keys to his car were taken Tuesday while he was swimming at a North Shore beach.

The 33-year-old man said he left his keys on the beach when he went into the water at 11:30 a.m.

When he returned, he noticed his keys were missing and items were missing from his car.

Surveillance video from nearby homes help to identify the suspects — boys, ages 13, 15 and 17.

The youths were later released Tuesday pending further investigation.
