The second annual Made in Maui County Festival will offer special tickets to those who want early access to the two-day event, which begins Nov. 6. For $35, early-bird shoppers will receive the same access as preregistered wholesale and retail buyers from 2 to 6 p.m. on the first day. First-day highlights include 5 p.m. opening ceremonies, light refreshments and a free festival tote bag.
Shoppers’ Preview tickets can be purchased at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center box office, by phone at 242-7469 or online via mauiarts.org.
Admission for qualified retail or wholesale buyers is free, but advance registration is required. Applications will be accepted online at madeinmauicountyfestival.com/preview through Nov. 4.
The festival opens to the public Nov. 7 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Adult admission is $5, while children 12 and under are free. That day’s festivities will include demonstrations, a fashion show, food trucks and prize drawings. The first 2,000 attendees also will receive a free commemorative tote bag.
The event “showcases the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of each of our more than 140 vendors who help support and strengthen our diverse economic base,” said Mayor Alan Arakawa in a statement.
