Female work furlough inmate missing since Sept. 24 is arrested
Police today arrested a 26-year-old work furlough inmate missing since Sept. 24 in Waimanalo, the Department of Public Safety announced.
Inmate Crystal Paulino, who failed to return after work Sept. 24 to the Women’s Community Correctional Center, was arrested this afternoon on suspicion of second-degree escape.
After police complete processing her, she will be returned to WCCC.
Paulino was serving time for forgery and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
She is scheduled for a parole hearing in December.
Paulino is classified as a community custody inmate, the lowest custody level.
