Firefighters and paramedics responded to the Kaimuki Shopping Center after people were stuck in an elevator due to a power outage in Kaimuki this afternoon.
Power was restored this afternoon for 1,200 Hawaiian Electric Co. customers in the Saint Louis Heights area.
HECO said the power outage, which occurred at 2:45 p.m. in the vicinity of Saint Louis Drive, was caused by a fallen tree branch.
Power was restored at approximately 3:20 p.m.
