Puna man escapes from Hale Nani prison program on Big Isle
Hawaii police reported a 20-year-old Puna man escaped from the Hawaii Community Correctional Center’s Hale Nani reintegration program.
Scottie Yanagawa was last seen at about 10 a.m. Thursday at Hale Nani.
He is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos of skulls on his left hand and upper arm and tribal tattoos running down his right arm.
