A 25-year-old man was arrested today on suspicion of attempted murder at Whitmore Village in Wahiawa.

The victim, a 24-year-old man, was in serious condition when taken to a hospital today, Honolulu police said.

The alleged assailant was arrested at 1:30 a.m. today at a residence on Aheahe Avenue.

According to city records, one of the owners of the residence is the man’s sister.

Several years ago, the alleged assailant was found guilty of criminal acts, including two counts of burglary and petty misdemeanors involving disorderly conduct and harassment.
