Person apparently injured in Mililani kitchen fire
One person apparently sustained smoke inhalation tonight after a kitchen fire in Mililani, firefighters said.
Firefighters were sent to an apartment building in the 95-000 block of Waihau Street about 9:20 p.m., and the first arriving company reported a kitchen fire, said Honolulu Fire Department spokesman Capt. David Jenkins.
Two fire companies extinguished the fire by 9:32 p.m.
Jenkins said paramedics were called to treat one person who had signs of smoke inhalation.
