President Barack Obama spent part of Thursday, the 13th day of his annual vacation on Oahu, playing golf with friends at the Hawaii Prince Golf Club in Ewa Beach.
Obama hit the links with Punahou School pals Greg Orme, Bobby Titcomb and Mike Ramos.
After the president finished his round, his motorcade departed from the golf club and returned to the Kailua neighborhood where the first family is staying over the holidays.
Earlier in the day, onlookers waved and took photos as the motorcade left the Marine base in Kaneohe after Obama’s workout at the gym. As the motorcade approached the first family’s rented vacation compound, a few people held up signs that said, “Open Cuba. Close Gitmo.”
The White House also released Obama’s vacation reading list, which includes “The Whites,” by Richard Price; “Purity,” by Jonathan Franzen; “The Wright Brothers,” by David McCullough; and “The Three-Body Problem,” by Liu Cixin.
