Sarah Richards, center, 2015 recipient of the Hawai‘i Arts Alliance Alfred Preis Honor, was congratulated by two previous recipients — Dr. Lawrence K.W. Tseu (2012) and Jean E. Rolles (2011) — before the official dinner and presentation Saturday at the Halekulani. Richards was recognized for her contributions to the arts as president of Hawaii Opera Theatre, executive director of the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and president of the Hawaii Theatre Center.
