Hawaii County police Tuesday identified a 33-year-old man who died after jumping off a cliff into the ocean off Kailua-Kona as William H. Holman of Auburn, Wash.
Police were alerted at 11:38 a.m. Monday that Holman had jumped into Lekeleke Bay, known as “End of the World,” and then cried out for help before disappearing into the water.
A fire rescue crew and the U.S. Coast Guard found Holman’s submerged body at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
