Zayne Chong, Christopher Kobayashi and Jared Lum each scored 10 points for Punahou in a 59-58 win over Maryknoll.
The Spartans took a four-point lead into halftime, but Punahou erased it by the start of the fourth quarter and then nipped Maryknoll in the final stanza.
Kobayashi led Punahou from the outside with three 3-pointers.
Maryknoll’s Hayato Kamata scored a game-high 16 points, while Brian Washington added 15 points and Jaylen Cain scored 13.
Punahou moves on to visit Saint Louis at McCabe Gym tonight at 6 in the semifinals of the postseason tournament.
Maryknoll ends its season with a 3-7 record in the ILH.

The Warriors blew the game open in the second quarter with 19 points while holding MPI to seven.
Daniel Florenco led Mid-Pacific with 17 points.
The Warriors move on to play regular-season champion ‘Iolani at ‘Iolani tonight at 6:30.
Mid-Pacific’s season ends with three upset victories in league play.
