Man arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting woman in airport area
Police arrested a 46-year-old man with no local address who allegedly sexually assaulted a 36-year-old woman Tuesday in the airport area.
The woman told police that the man first assaulted her at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday using a dangerous instrument, then later in the evening sexually assaulted her, police said.
Police arrested the man Wednesday on Aolele Street on suspicion of second-degree assault and first-degree sexual assault.
He remained in police custody Thursday.
