The growing luxury real estate brokerage firm Hawaii Life is a bit bigger after acquiring Maui Estates International in a deal that Hawaii Life said also makes it the exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate on Maui, Lanai, Molokai, Kauai and Hawaii island.
Hawaii Life announced the acquisition Tuesday. Financial terms were not disclosed.
As part of the deal, Kapalua-based Maui Estates and its nine agents, including principal broker Mary Anne Fitch, will operate under the Hawaii Life name. Fitch founded Maui Estates in 2009.
Hawaii Life was founded in 2008 on Kauai and now claims to be the third-largest residential real estate brokerage firm in Hawaii with 240 brokers, agents and employees in 14 offices statewide.
