Wife of ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ seeks to lead bondsman group
LAS VEGAS » The wife of reality TV star “Dog the Bounty Hunter” is looking to run the National Bail Bonds Association, a professional bail agents’ group.
The Las Vegas Sun reports that Beth Chapman, wife of Duane “Dog” Chapman, is in Las Vegas for the association’s winter conference at the Luxor. Members will vote on a new president today.
Chapman says she and her husband have put their reality-TV show on hold while she campaigns for the association’s presidency.
The National Bail Bonds Association represents 15,000 bail agents across the country.
The Chapmans gained national recognition with their A&E show “Dog the Bounty Hunter.” The series was canceled in 2012 and the couple later started “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt” which aired on Country Music Television.
