The Rainbow Warriors celebrated a point against the Long Beach State 49ers on Feb. 24 at the Stan Sheriff Center in Manoa.

Two losses last week did not affect Hawaii’s ranking in today’s AVCA Division I-II men’s volleyball poll, with the Rainbow Warriors remaining at No. 7.

There was little movement in the Top 15 as the top seven teams stayed the same, led by unanimous No. 1 Long Beach State (15-2, 12-2 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation). Brigham Young (14-2, 10-2 MPSF), Hawaii’s opponent this Wednesday and Friday, was at No. 2 followed by Stanford (14-2, 12-2 MPSF), UCLA (15-3, 11-3 MPSF), Ohio State (13-3, 7-1 MIVA), Penn State (12-2, 7-0 EIVA) and the Warriors (10-7, 5-7 MPSF).

Ball State and UC Santa Barbara traded places, the Cardinals (13-3, 7-0 MIVA) moving up to 8th and the Gauchos (13-6, 9-5 MPSF) dropping to 9th. Pepperdine (7-5, 6-5 MPSF) rounds out the top 10.
