Fort Weaver Road reopened after utility pole fell

Honolulu police closed part of Fort Weaver Road after a bus hit a utility pole and knocked down wires.
Police reopened all lanes of Fort Weaver Road after a brief closure this afternoon between Keaunui Drive and Hanakahi Street because of a downed utility pole.
The incident happened shortly after 3 p.m.
A bus hit a utility pole and wires were hanging low across the roadway, according to police radio communications.
Police were routing traffic via Kapolei Parkway. All lanes were reopened about 3:35 p.m.
