Where do celebrities take their vacations? Shh. It’s a secret. Well, not anymore.
>> What it does: This is a fun and breezy website for discerning travelers who want to travel like a Hollywood celebrity or voyeurs who want to gaze at dreamy pics of beaches, luxe hotels and secluded vacation destinations for singles, couples and families. It was founded by actor Ian Ziering, best known for his role as Steve Sanders on “Beverly Hills, 90210.”
>>What’s hot: Open a page in any of the regions in its Destinations section and you’ll find hotels and resorts with services you might not know about: personal chef, trainer, shopper; butler service and use of a private car, rooms stocked with your favorite foods and even a “private evening one-man jazz concert on your terrace” (at Secret Bay in Dominica). Head straight to the Celebrity News section for info on who has been where and with whom, or to the Celebrity Style section for tips on how the glitterati combat jet lag and pack for their trips. If you like what you see, you can request a quote; an agent will get back to you within two hours (during East Coast business hours).
>> What’s not: The website sometimes didn’t respond as quickly as I would have liked. For example, I had to wait when clicking between “Jessica and Justin in Tanzania” and the next tour, “Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban in Bora Bora.” But once the site loaded more fully, I could move to the next page quickly. Note, these click-throughs led to content on another website, “Originally published by E Online.”
