Water main break in Waimanalo closes neighborhood road
A large water main break in Waimanalo this morning forced the closure a neighborhood road.
Poalima Street between Hihimanu Street and Kalanianaole Highway was closed after the break, on Hihimanu Street near the intersection witth Poalima Street, was reported at 3:37 a.m.
It was not immediately known how many customers were left without water service.

Soon it will be summer and we’ll be inundated with commercials from the BWS telling us to conserve water. I’m curious as the how much water is wasted on the continual water main breaks we suffer through on a daily/weekly basis. How about it BWS?
And we continue to build as our infrastructure crumbles.
