Firefighters responded to a two-alarm building fire this morning in Wahiawa.

Eleven fire companies and 38 fire personnel arrived at 276 Olive Avenue at 8:45 a.m. to find a two-story concrete residential apartment complex with smoke emanating from a one bedroom ground floor unit.

Firefighters found a smoldering fire on a futon couch.

The fire was under control at 8:51 a.m.

Two people were home at the time of the fire but no injuries were reported, the fire department said.

The fire was contained to the couch and there was smoke damage to the unit, officials said.
