Man, 70, in critical condition after car crash in Wahiawa
A 70-year-old man is in critical condition in the hospital after the station wagon he was driving hit a fence in Wahiawa Monday.
Police said the accident occurred around 9:10 a.m. when the victim was trying to make a left turn on to California Avenue from Kamehameha Highway. The driver may have had a medical emergency and lost control of his 1980 station wagon, climbed the sidewalk and hit a fence, police said.
The victim was taken to Wahiawa General Hospital.
