Saks Fifth Avenue hiring for new Waikiki store

STAR-ADVERTISER / OCT. 2015 Ironworkers erected the 21,000 pound International Marketplace Fire Tower at the International Marketplace construction site in Waikiki on Monday, October 26, 2015. The opening date for the marketplace is August 25, 2016.

Saks Fifth Avenue said it is looking to fill 130 positions at its new International Market Place store in Waikiki and is opening a recruitment center Monday.

The full-line luxury department store will open on Aug. 25.

The recruitment center opening on Monday is at 1833 Kalakaua Avenue, Suite 610. The available positions include: selling managers and support managers, as well as sales and support staff in all departments, including men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, jewelry, shoes, cosmetics, personal shopping, visual merchandising, visual stylists, alterations, and asset protection.

The recruitment center will be open for on-site interviews from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Candidates are welcome to apply in-person or by sending a resume to SaksHawaii@s5a.com.

The retailer also announced that Shelley Tadaki Cramer would be the vice president and general manager of the company’s first full-line store in Hawaii.
