Ocean Safety personnel are searching for two snorkelers believed to be missing in waters off Makua Beach.
The search was initiated around 4 p.m. after a witness called 911 to report seeing two people in trouble.
The Honolulu Fire Department and Coast Guard are assisting in the search.
