Kauai police seize drugs after arresting wanted man
Cocaine, methamphetamine and other drugs were discovered in a Lihue man’s car after he was arrested on Wednesday.
Police saw 49-year-old Mark Christian of Lihue driving on Kuhio Highway in front of the old Hanamaulu Cafe. Christian was wanted on a grand jury bench warrant for multiple drug offenses.
Christian was arrested without incident on multiple offenses relating to promoting a dangerous drug and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Police executed a search warrant on Christian’s car where they found 3.7 grams of cocaine, 1.2 grams of methamphetamine, 12.4 grams of marijuana, 59 Schedule II drugs, two Schedule III drugs, and 21 Schedule IV drugs, according to officials.
Christian’s bail was set at $114,000.
He was arraigned in Circuit Court on Thursday.

I commend our officers for their vigorous pursuit of all those involved in the possession or distribution of illegal drugs.”

What’s the Life expectancy for meth users?? 20–30 years?This guy looks like he,s in his nineties….its amazing how much of a grip this drug has on the mind…. I remember growing (North Shore)up,seeing the heroin users.some of them friends of mine! This made a Huge impact on me,not to mention the Good advice of my parents! Thanks Mom and Dad! Who,s famous quote said “Just Say No”? Boy was she Right!
