Hawaii remained at No. 5 in Monday’s AVCA Collegiate Beach Volleyball Top 10, matching its seeding in this week’s inaugural NCAA championship tournament.
The Rainbow Wahine (16-8) face fourth-seeded UCLA on Friday at Gulf Shores, Ala. The Bruins (19-6) also matched their seed with their rank, staying at No. 4.
USC (30-2) remained at No. 1 but is seeded second at the national tournament. Florida State (29-1), the top seed, moved to No. 2 in the poll, trading places with third-seeded Pepperdine (19-3).
Sixth seed Arizona (20-6), joining Hawaii as one of two at-large teams this week, stayed at No. 6. Georgia State (26-6) traded places with Long Beach State (13-14), the seventh-seeded Panthers taking a No. 7 ranking to the tournament while the 49ers stay home ranked No. 8 rank.
Rounding out the top 10 are eighth-seeded Stetson (28-7) and LSU (20-9).
