The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for the island of Oahu until 10:45 p.m.

Radar at 7:41 p.m. showed briefly heavy showers scattered throughout the windward area between Kahuku and Olomana, and in the Waipahu and mauka areas.

Forecasters expect the showers to gradually dissipate in a couple of hours.

Locations in the advisory include, but are not limited to, Schofield Barracks, Makakilo, Waikane, Waipahu and Waianae.

The advisory may be extended if heavy rain persists, the weather service said.
